Where can I buy tiny differences bag?
Bags will be available from tiny differences members, so please ask.
How much is donated to Cornwall Wildlife Trust?
For every bag purchased we will contribute the full amount that you have
paid to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust for their Dolphin Pinger Appeal. Pingers help prevent the
dolphins around the coast of Cornwall from
becoming entangled in fishermen's nets.
What
is a pinger?
The pinger is an
acoustic deterrent device fitted onto a fishing net. It works by emitting
a regular sonic noise which can be heard by cetaceans and scares them away
from nets. Cornwall Wildlife Trust, working with major partners, holds the
key to potentially preventing the deaths of hundreds of dolphins and
porpoises – the pinger!
The Cornwall Wildlife Trust website
Cornwall Wildlife Trust Dolphin Pinger Appeal
gives the full
information about dolphins and the pinger appeal.
