Woodland Craft & Beanpole Fayre	Saturday May 1st 2010 10am to 5pm. A special event at North Hill Village Hall& field - and a first for Cornwall! Support your beans with locally sourced coppiced poles. Other wood crafts & products will be for sale. Find out about woodland wildlife. Displays & demonstrations. Activities for all the family. World Heritage Site: Cornish Mining Heritage Walks	A variety of events throughout Cornwall and west Devon around the World Heritage Site. Cornish Mining World Heritage Guided walks each month to explore local environment and mining heritage. For details see the Stuart House website

Peruvian Experience	'A day in Peru' and Spanish refresher course Spanish conversation and coffee (2 hours) This can be either Spanish or Latin American Spanish, and appropriate to your existing knowledge of Spanish language. Hands-on Peruvian culture and crafts (3 hours) Memories of Bocaditos (3 hours) A full day course will combine all the above to enjoy a taste of Peruvian culture and opportunity to refresh your Spanish language skills. Charles Causley	Charles Causley Festival 2010 Saturday 5th June is the main festival day at Launceston, with contemporary poets, writers and artists in the ancient capital of Cornwall.

The Cat's Whiskers	North Hill Lunch Club Home-made soups using fresh local vegetables are part of the menu at 'The Cat's Whiskers' - and then indulge in a delicious pudding! Everyone is welcome, so why not enjoy a walk from here in the beautiful Lynher Valley on the local footpaths up to the moor and work up a good appetite first. First Wednesday of each month at North Hill Village Hall 12-2pm.
